Terms, Conditions, and Guarantees

2 day health guarantee
  • We guarantee that the reptile we have sold you will be healthy for 2 full days after it leaves our care. If a reptile leaves our care on a Saturday at 2pm, we will guarantee a healthy gecko until Monday 2pm.
  • This health guarantee is only valid if you follow the guidelines on our care sheet for that animal. We cannot be responsible for you caring for your new reptile in any way other than what we have recommended. Failure to follow our guidelines WILL void your guarantee.
  • At the first signs of concern, please contact us immediately and follow the steps we give you to try and turn things around. Failure to do so WILL void your guarantee.
  • Why do we not guarantee our reptiles beyond 2 days? Simply because after 2 days too many other factors have been added in to the reptile's care and too many things are now out of our control.
  • We are confident that the reptile you are purchasing is healthy and we will will guarantee that for 2 days!

Replacement of your deceased reptile:

  • If your new reptile dies within the 2 day guarantee period (hasn't ever happened) and needs to be replaced, we require a photograph of the deceased animal. We require this of all customers who submit a death claim, it helps us confirm the death, may give us some leads as to the cause of death and is closure for that reptile's file here at The Crested Castle.
  • If your reptile dies within the first 2 days, please contact us immediately and take photos so we can discuss the validity of your claim.
  • If your claim is valid, the replacement reptile will be of similar lineage, color, pattern, age, size and value. Together we will arrange how to get the new gecko to you, we will not ship our reptiles and will meet in person at a time and place that is suitable to us.

A sick reptile:

  • If you think your reptile is sick (hasn't ever happened), please contact us immediately, whether or not it is within the 2 day guarantee. We love these guys and want to walk you through some possible solutions before anything becomes irreversible. We are always available to help whether you have had the reptile for 1 day or 1000 days.
  • At times a reptile can and will drop it's tail for no apparent reason. There is nothing we can do about this, it is beyond our control. We will not be held responsible for a dropped tail at any time, even if it is within the 2 day guarantee. A dropped tail is not a health issue and is something that we have no control over.
